Short papers will be presented as posters in an interactive setting. Short papers should present interesting and exiciting recent results or novel thought-provoking ideas that are not quite ready, and preferrably include a system demonstration. The same four tracks defined for Full papers presentations are planned for Short Papers, focussing on:
Papers can be of interest of multiple tracks simultaneously: if the case applies, it must be specified upon paper submission. Submissions will be peer-reviewed by the same reviewers as the full papers to ensure quality.
ACM Multimedia review is double-blind. Traditional acceptance rate for short papers at ACM Multimedia conference is about 30%. Accepted short papers appear in the Conference Proceedings and in the ACM Digital Library along with the accepted full papers.
The maximum length allowed for short papers is 4 pages.
