
The Multimedia Grand Challenge is key part of the ACM Multimedia program aiming at engaging the research community on the main challenges of the next future as perceived by the major world companies in Multimedia Technologies such as Google, Yahoo, HP, Radvision, CeWe, Nokia and others. The Multimedia Grand Challenge at ACM Multimedia 2010 is the second edition of this competition. It will focus on the solution of relevant and challenging questions about the industry’s 2-5 year horizon for multimedia. Researchers will be encouraged to submit working systems in response to the challenge to win the Grand Challenge competition.
The top submissions will be presented in a special event during the ACM Multimedia 2010 Conference. Based on the presentation, winners will be selected for Grand Challenge awards.
